Warren, Mich., May 23, 2017 – Weldaloy continues to grow by making additional investments in its rolled ring capabilities and providing a wider array of custom rings for existing and future customers.
“Upgrading our seamless rolled ring capabilities has allowed us to produce a wide variety of ring sizes in less time while simultaneously increasing manufacturing consistency,” said Kurt Ruppenthal, Vice President and General Manager at Weldaloy. “We are always looking for new ways to better serve our customers and to continuously improve our business. We believe this positions us well to support the recovering oil and gas industry.”
The newly upgraded equipment will begin production in June of 2017. Siempelkamp handled the project, which has experience spanning over 140 years in designing, building, and upgrading metal forming production equipment for leading-edge companies around the world.
In addition to investing in new equipment, Weldaloy has also expanded its campus by acquiring another manufacturing plant. This will be used to provide for the increased capacity and to better meet customer needs.
