Aluminum 2219

Aluminum 2219 (UNS A92219) is an aluminum alloy comprised of mostly aluminum (Al) and copper (Cu). Trace amounts of other elements such as iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), Zinc (Z), and others make up the rest of this alloy.

Aluminum 2219 is a high-strength, yet lightweight aluminum alloy that is commonly used in the aerospace industry for various structural components. This aluminum alloy works well in high-temperature applications.
